I am back on Topamax the doctor put me 200mg twice a day but just recently changed it to 100mg in the morning and 200mg at night, since I was taking a total of 400mg before. I have had the worst bloating, I feel like (and look like) i swallowed a watermellon. Keep in mind, not all binge eaters are over weight or obese however. And says that I should start losing the weight I gained while being constipated on the lortabs for so long. I tapered off the amitriptyline while titrating up on Topamax. Some of us have brain chemistry issues contributing to our weight, and may need pharmacological help, but we also need healthy nutrition, exercise, and maybe even counseling.
